Beezid Best Features
Lots of promotions! Beezid offers a variety of promotional deals for users including free shipping, price freeze offers, auctions where winners earn their bids back, and more. The site never has a shortage of good deals to take advantage of.
Great Products & Selection: Beezid not only features some of the best products, but they consistently offer a nice varied selection too. Their electronics offerings in particular are very robust
Buy It: We love this option pretty much on every site it’s offered. Beezid, like HappyBidDay (currently our #1 rated penny auction) offers a 24-hour Buy It Now window after an auction closes, and full reimbursement on any bids spent on an auction item you choose to buy.
Beezid has a slew of auction styles, and at first they can seem a little overwhelming. We decoded the most popular ones below with our take on their values to users.
Cherry Auctions: These auctions are for new bidders that haven’t won yet. These aren’t as lucrative as sites like HappyBidDay for the simple fact that as soon as you win a single auction (ready or not) you’ve got to move on to the main auctions. It’s a great concept, but we’d like to see some expansion.
Ghost Auctions: These auctions offer a fun twist – they identify who the snipers are, but keep all the other bidders a secret. It’s a creative way to make it all challenging without inhibiting gameplay.
Balloon Auctions: Balloon Auctions are basically mystery auctions. As the price goes up, so does the value, and the product changes. So a bid pack might turn into a gift card which might turn into an iPod, etc. These auctions are one of our least favorite things about Beezid, but that’s just us. Some people do enjoy this auction style, and they’ll likely keep it around for a while. Our main issue with this style is that if you have a strategy, it’s typically different for each product you bid on (you may be more aggressive with an iPad than a gift card for example), and this style forces you to switch strategies mid-stream.
Turbo Auctions: If you have a need for speed, check out Turbo Auctions. Bid timing is super- fast, and Autobeezid fires with lightning precision, helping you outbid opponents quickly no matter how much time is left. Just be sure you know what you’re doing – Turbo Auctions are a good way to BURN through bids if you’re not careful.
Bid For Free: These auctions let you bid for free – no bids are deducted from your account as you bid. The reason we don’t list this in our “Best Features” section is because there’s a kicker. Unlike HappyBidDay’s rewards program that continues to be offered completely free of charge, Beezid’s Bid For Free auctions won’t open up to you until you make your first bid pack purchase.
Thriller Auctions: Real-time auction bidding only, no AutoBeezids are allowed. Great for players that want to get away from auto-bid software.
Trophy Auctions: These auctions give the auction winner all his/her bids back at the end.
Price Freeze Auctions: These auctions have prices that cap at certain amounts, no matter how many bids are placed.
Bids Back Auctions: Everybody now! Every bidder in these auctions gets their bids back, no matter who the winner is.
